ClientAMSA
Scope
Consult and design for the Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) on optimal size and location of the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre (JRCC) and supporting rooms.
Result
CADwalk Digital assisted the client to finalise design recommendation for distribution to relevant AMSA staff for further discussion.
CADwalk has been re-engaged for second consultation to engage broader range of key decision makers within AMSA, to validate and optimise plans.
Benefits
AMSA was able to use the information gained from the CADwalk consultancy to understand that the design principles they had chosen were not going to result in the benefits they had anticipated.
This allowed them to postpone the construction work that would have delivered an undesirable outcome and revisit the design to produce a more efficient centre for the broader AMSA staff.
